WHO WE ARE

Founded in 1973, OCA – Asian Pacific American Advocates is a 501(c)(3) national non-profit, membership-driven organization based in Washington, D.C. with over 50 chapters and affiliates around the country. Touching hundreds of thousands of AAPIs each year.

OUR MISSION

OCAFC – Asian Pacific American Advocates is dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs in Fairfield County. OCA works with its organizational partners, members, chapters, and supporters to empower the next generation of leaders.

OUR IMPACT

Our impact in the community: with the help of our dedicated parents and volunteers, our members and our supporters within our broad Community, have successfully prepared many of our children to continue advanced college-level studies in Mandarin.

OCA\’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. gives the OCA National Center an effective vantage point for monitoring legislation and policy issues affecting Asian Pacific Americans. In addition, OCA is able to build national support and to work in coalition with other national groups around issues affecting Asian Pacific Americans.
